Graduate Research Associate

Graduate Program: Biomedical Sciences

About Me:

I am a PhD candidate in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program at The Ohio State University and a member of Dr. Gallego-Perez's nanomedicine laboratory. My research is mainly focused on the role of extracellular vesicles in the onset and progression of Alzheimer's Disease.

I was born and raised in Bexley Ohio and went on to study biology at the University of Cincinnati. Before joining Dr. Gallego-Perez's nanomedicine laboratory as a graduate student, I spent two years as a research assistant in the department of surgery at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center where I researched stroke in collaboration with Dr. Gallego-Perez's lab. I plan to go into medical/science writing after I finish my PhD.
